Greece and Spetses, have always had a special place in our hearts. After living fast-paced lives in London and Paris with our daughter and our cat, we chose to reconnect with the magical Mediterranean region, inherited from our families’ origins.
We both share a similar vision of hospitality. More than great service. Where each traveller is looked after as family. This is a unique concept on the island of Spetses, halfway between a luxury boutique hotel and a family guest house.
Located off the coast of the Peloponnese region, in the Saronic gulf, Spetses is a small island in the Myrtoan Sea.
Fifteen years ago, when travelling with our family for holidays, we chose it for its quiet atmosphere, its simplicity, authenticity and natural beauties, embellished all year round by the changing seasons.
What is unique about the island is that it is pedestrian-friendly: a few cars, no big road, no touring bus and no airport around. Most travel here is by foot, horse-carriage, bikes, small motorbikes or quad bikes etc. This is disconnection.
This Spetsiotis-style house was one of the first hotels on the island. With fifteen bedrooms, Yayaki offers the perfect location, in a quiet street, five minutes walk away from both the village Dapia, and the nearest beach, Agios Mama.
The vision of Yayaki’s original island home atmosphere has been translated thanks wonderful Greek and French talents: Bruno and Sandrine from Bru&San for the brand identity, Mr. Kappos and his team, founder of Novicon for the renovations, Stéphane and Pierre-Emmanuel from Maison Hand for the decoration.
Choose to stay in one of Yayaki’s two most luxurious suites: The Panorama Suite or the Yayaki Suite. Both have a unique atmosphere, outdoor spaces, and offer the ultimate luxury in terms of comfort, space and privacy for a “wow” effect.
The Myrtoan Suite is Yayaki’s biggest room. With a common lounge and two bedrooms, it is perfect for families or groups of friends. It can accommodate up to 4 people. It is located on the ground floor of the main house and offers a direct view over the pool and the garden.
The Deluxe Balcony rooms are located in the main house, on the second floor and offer a beautiful view of the pool. The traditional balconies facing the garden, jasmin trees and colourful bougainvillea add an extra romantic touch.
Like in a family home, each room at Yayaki has a unique personality. The Deluxe and Triple rooms’ interiors are inspired by the magical energies of the island’s nature, offering a modern, simple and authentic vibe. With large, double-glazed windows facing the pool, you will enjoy the garden view and its colourful bougainvillea.
A romantic sunset ride aboard a Kaiki, the Greek traditional fishing boat? A hike to the monastery? Book one of the Yayaki Experiences, tailored to match your energy, tastes, requests and dreams.
