Spetses is a Greek hidden gem, located in the Myrtoan sea, close to its famous neighbour Hydra, in the Saronic gulf. The sense of intimacy you find on the island has made its reputation in luxury travel, far away from the bling of Mykonos, St-Tropez or Ibiza.
What is unique here, is that it is pedestrian-friendly: a few cars, no big road, no touring buses and no airport around. Most travel here is by foot, horse-carriage, bikes small motorbikes or quad bikes etc. This is disconnection.
Located only three hours away from Athens, Spetses is easily accessible, by ferry, bus, car or even helicopter.
Each season on the island has its own beauty. In summer, it is the hideaway of international and Greek tourists, flying away from big cities. This is the high-season and hottest period. From mid-June until the end of August, the temperatures can rise up to 40 degrees.
In winter, from January to March, the weather changes but can offer beautiful sunny days for you to enjoy a lunch on the terrace.
We are happy to welcome you any time of the year but recommend our guests to visit Spetses island off-season: during Autumn, after the Armata festival happening during the first weekend of September, until end-November, or during Spring, from April to June. This is when the island is more quiet, temperatures are enjoyable and the light changes.
Perfect for couples, wellness retreats, digital-nomads or hikers.
Many European travellers take advantage of the Easter holiday to escape the cold, enjoy the warm Greek weather and flowery lands.
